Australia Rugby League World Cup 2022 Team Squad – Australia is set to compete in the Rugby League World Cup 2022, after being crowned champions at the last tournament in 2017. The Kangaroos will be looking to defend their title and add to their record haul of World Cup victories, which currently stands at twelve.
Australia has been drawn in Group B for the tournament, alongside Fiji, Scotland and Italy. They will open their campaign against Fiji at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on October 15th before facing Scotland at Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry on October 21st. Their final group game is against Italy in Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens on 29th October.
Australia is expected to be one of the favourites for the title, alongside England and New Zealand. However, they will face some tough competition from other teams including Tonga, who reached the semi-finals in 2017.
